London : Temple Walk and Sir John Soane's Museum
Friday 05 April 2019

The well known Blue Badge Guide and broadcaster on LBC, Diane Burstein, will be leading us through the history and unique customs of this secret corner of London with a walking tour of the Inns of Court. Famous barristers, literary figures like Oliver Goldsmith, Dr. Johnson and "Rumpole" will come to life and the Knights Templar as well as a Jack the Ripper suspect all feature here. We will also visit the Royal Courts of Justice and hopefully the 12th century Temple church. (We cannot guarantee that this will be open.)

Following a refreshment break, we will have a private exclusive visit to the Sir John Soane Museum in Lincoln's Inn Fields. Here Sir John Soane lived and worked and trained young architects.

Bookings will open at the February lecture. Due to the size of the museum, our group will be limited to 20.

Cost - £22 includes the guided walking tour and entry to the Sir John Soane Museum with a talk. You will need to make your own way to and from the tour.
