The Arts Society Reigate was founded in September 1985 and celebrated its 40th Anniversary in September 2025. We currently have over 200 members and meet monthly (except for August) for our lectures.
We are an independent society, affiliated to The Arts Society which has over 340 Societies and about 63,000 individual members in the UK and overseas www.theartssociety.org
Our programme of monthly illustrated lectures (except for August) covers a broad spectrum of arts-related topics, such as painting, sculpture, jewellery, ceramics, furniture, architecture, archaeology, fashion and textiles to name but a few! Lectures are given by experienced and highly qualified lecturers accredited by The Arts Society who are all experts in their field.
Volunteer members of our society also work on local Heritage projects.

New members are most welcome and do please contact us if you think that our society might be of interest to you.
Our 1 hour lectures begin at 2pm promptly, the 4th Thursday each month (except August when there is no lecture and December when it's earlier in the month). Lectures are held at Reigate Park Church, Park Lane East, Reigate RH2 8BD, followed by tea and biscuits.
We are a very friendly society and look forward to welcoming you. Come and try a lecture for a Visitors' fee of £10.
